California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
Last updated: [DATE — set before launch]
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, "CCPA"), gives you specific rights over your personal information. This page summarizes those rights and how to exercise them.
Your rights
- Right to know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our purposes, and the categories of third parties with whom it is shared.
- Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, medical-record retention requirements).
- Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in a way that requires an opt-out. If that changes, we will update this page and provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism.
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we use sensitive information (such as health information) only to provide the services you request.
- Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
How to submit a request
Email support@theamericanprotocol.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request," or write to us at TelecareHealth US LLC, 7651 Chesapeake Dr, Shreveport, LA 71105. We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request and respond within the timeframes required by law. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
Note on medical information
Medical information governed by HIPAA or the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act is generally exempt from the CCPA and is instead protected as described in our HIPAA Notice.
