How American Protocols Telehealth works. American Protocols Telehealth is a technology platform that connects patients with independently licensed healthcare providers who deliver care through the American Protocol patient portal. American Protocols Telehealth does not practice medicine, does not dispense medication, and does not influence clinical decisions. Every prescribing decision rests solely with the independent provider who evaluates you. Payment for a visit never guarantees that a prescription will be written or that a medication will be dispensed.
Not medical advice. Content on this site is provided for general education and is not a substitute for individualized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a licensed clinician. Consult your provider about any health concern. This website advertises telehealth services; it does not advertise or promote any specific prescription drug.
Important safety information. Prescription products are available only if prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider after a medical evaluation. Individual results vary. Do not use GLP-1 medications if you have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2. Read all product and safety information provided with your prescription and talk to your provider about possible side effects. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.

About compounded medications. Compounded medications have not been reviewed or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for safety, effectiveness, or quality. When a provider determines that a compounded medication is appropriate, it is prepared by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, which permits compounding only on the basis of a valid, patient-specific prescription from a licensed healthcare provider.
